travel scholarships

We anticipate being able to award a dozen or so travel scholarships to defray the cost of attending the Symposium. All full-time graduate students, enrolled in an accredited PhD program, and in possession of a valid social security number, are eligible. The scholarhip will consist of a $1,000 travel voucher.

To apply simply check the appropriate box on the registration form, and send an email to plumbfest@columbia.edu with the following items:
  • your current CV (pdf only, please)
  • the name and contact info of your research advisor
  • a brief description of your current research (0.5 pages)
The application deadline is September 15th, 2008. Students selected for a scholarships will be notified by October 1st, 2008.
